What This Centre Tests
Class 1 — Motorcycles up to 200cc
Max £29.65Small motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters under 200cc engine capacity.
Class 2 — Motorcycles over 200cc
Max £29.65Motorcycles with engine capacity over 200cc, including sidecars.
Class 4 — Cars & Light Vans
Max £54.85Cars and specified passenger vehicles; goods vehicles up to 3,000kg, or zero-emission goods vehicles up to 3,500kg.
Class 5 — Large Passenger Vehicles
Max £59.55 / £80.65Passenger vehicles with 13–16 seats have a £59.55 maximum; vehicles with more than 16 seats have an £80.65 maximum.
Class 7 — Goods Vehicles
Max £58.60Goods vehicles over 3,000kg to 3,500kg, plus zero-emission goods vehicles over 3,500kg to 4,250kg design gross weight.
💡 Before Your MOT at KVMS
- Check that all required exterior lights work correctly
- Tyre tread must be at least 1.6mm (use the 20p coin test)
- Dashboard warning lights (engine, ABS, airbag) must not stay on
- Windscreen wipers must clear effectively and washer fluid must work
- Ask the centre about its booking, repair and retest arrangements
